Where can I watch Common Denominator?
Common Denominator is meant to bring people together, not keep them behind a screen. That's why it's only available through live, phone-free screenings. Each screening is followed by an expert-led conversation and a casual gathering over pizza and refreshments, giving the audience the chance to connect, reflect, and continue the conversation in person.
How are guests chosen?
Authenticity over celebrity. Common Denominator isn't a talk show about fame, careers, or personal gossip. It's a conversation about what makes us human. We invite guests who are willing to be authentic, vulnerable, and honest about the challenges they've faced, reminding audiences that no one is alone. We don't choose guests based on the size of their following—we choose them based on the strength of their character and the value of their story.
Is Common Denominator scripted?
Authenticity can't be scripted. The magic of Common Denominator is that nothing is rehearsed. Guests see the original artwork for the first time during filming. They meet the host for the first time on camera. They choose the songs they want to perform in the moment. The artwork sparks an unscripted conversation that often leads to unexpected honesty, vulnerability, and genuine human connection. That's where the magic happens.
What is the goal and follow up?
Common Denominator was created to spark honest conversations about what we're all going through. Through guided, in-person discussions, audiences often find themselves opening up in ways they never expected. Just as importantly, the shared experience creates genuine human connection, with many attendees leaving not only with a new perspective, but with new friends. Every screening concludes by connecting attendees with NAMI and other trusted local mental wellness resources, ensuring the conversation continues long after the event ends.
